September is National Library Card Sign-Up Month and a great opportunity to remind members of your community all the benefits that come with holding a library card. To help you get the word out I have links to materials provided by the ALA, some fun memes, a toolkit of images that you can customize and share and blog posts containing some creative ideas.

ALA Promotional Graphics

Marley Dias, author, executive producer, and founder of #1000BlackGirlBooks, is joining the American Library Association and libraries nationwide in promoting the power of a library card this September. Follow I Love Libraries on Facebook and Twitter and the hashtag #LibraryCardSignUpMonth to join the celebration on social media. Memes are highly adaptable, infinitely shareable, extremely relatable and perfect for sharing on your social media platforms. Sharing a few memes during the month of September on your social media pages can be a fun way to generate some shares and follows. Simply click on any of the meme images to get a downloadable version that you can right-click on and save.

Ideas for Library Card Sign-Up Month
